If this is your first time on Clever Dodo, please read this!

There are 3 distinct sections on Clever Dodo
English : You can either click on the UK flag at the top right of your browser or click on this link : http://cleverdodo.mu
French : You can either click on the French flag at the top right of your browser or click on this link : http://cleverdodo.mu/fr/
Creole : You can either click on the Mauritian flag at the top right of your browser or click on this link : http://cleverdodo.mu/cr/

Once you've chosen your language, all content will be available in that particular language. You can use the country flags to navigate to other language sections of the website.

The homepage however will list all the questions (in all languages).

How to ask good questions?
People need to be able to know what your question is about just by looking at the title, so make sure your title is concise.

Whilst your question may be clear to you, someone else who may be trying to help you may have problem understanding it. So put all the details that you think is necessary in the description field to convey your question better.

Please vote on the answers provided by other users (whether it's a thumbs up or thumbs down) so that other people can know how good the answer is and to give or take points to the user who gave the answer. There's a "Mark as best answer" button as well which you should use if your question has been answered completely; this will help close down your question and allocate points to the user who helped you.

How to give good answers to questions?
This is a Q&A site, not a discussion forum, so please make sure you answer the question.

Provide details and share your research. Avoid statements based solely on opinion; only make statements you can back up with an appropriate reference, or personal experiences.

Note that you are only allowed one answer per question

You will however be able to make unlimited comments on your answer or other answers provided by other users.

We welcome your comments on our articles
You can browse the different articles submitted by our community members from the top menu. These articles provide information on different topics on Mauritius. For easy access, here are the links to them:

English articles
French articles
Creole articles

Feel free to leave your comments on those articles.

Thanks for the feedback, but even with that text people are still going to find it ambiguous. I'd leave it for now and see how things go...

Some people don't know how to click on the "Mark this as best answer" button.

I know but the thing is that this Question/Answer website concept is new to many people and most users are familiar with discussion boards/forums which do not have these functionalities.

We just need to try to educate them. Feel free to ask the user to mark your answer as best answer where you feel you deserve the credit. Otherwise us moderators will be marking the best answers where appropriate and you'll get your credit as well as your points :)
