Yes, that's possible.

There are many western union agents in Burkina Faso where the person you're sending money to can collect the cash. Here's a list of the cities:

  • Hounde
  • Kaya

  • Ougadougou
  • Po

All you need to do is find the closest western union agent where you live in Mauritius and you're all set.

Yes, it is once there is a western union counterpart in the area and well you have got the places where they are situated in Burkina Faso :)

You can send money to over 200 countries through Western Union and that includes from Mauritius to Burkina as well. It might be a good idea to see how much the agent will be charging you for the transfer (though I think it depends on the amount of money you're going to send).
